1. What TherapyLocator provides

TherapyLocator is a directory and discovery platform that helps users find mental-health and wellbeing services across the UK by browsing by location, therapy type and conditions/needs. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. No medical advice or emergency service

Information on this Site is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. If you need urgent help, contact emergency services (call 999) or appropriate crisis support in your area.

3. Listings, claimed profiles, and accuracy

Listings on TherapyLocator may be:

  • Claimed and managed by practitioners/clinics; or
  • Unclaimed placeholders intended to support discovery and allow providers to claim and complete their information.

While we aim to keep information current, we cannot guarantee that all listings are complete or accurate at all times. Users should verify details directly with the provider before booking.

4. Claiming a listing

Providers may submit a request to claim and manage a listing. We may request reasonable information to confirm legitimacy. We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove claims and listings to protect the integrity of the directory.

5. Provider responsibility

If you manage a claimed profile, you are responsible for keeping your information accurate, lawful, and up to date. You agree not to submit misleading claims, impersonate others, or misrepresent credentials or services.

6. Paid plans and payments (PayPal)

We may offer paid plans (e.g., enhanced visibility/featured placement). Payments may be processed via PayPal or other payment providers displayed at checkout. When you purchase a plan, you agree to:

  • provide accurate payment and billing information;
  • pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges; and
  • any subscription renewal terms shown at checkout (if applicable).

Note: Paid placement may improve visibility, but we keep boosts modest so relevance and client fit remain the priority.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Refund and cancellation rules (if applicable) will be shown at checkout or on our Pricing page. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once the paid period has started. We may provide pro-rated refunds at our discretion where required by law or in exceptional circumstances.
